Apex plans mobile visits and shop appointments as different kinds of work. A wash can come to the car. A coating, a correction, and a deep interior usually cannot.

Same standard. Different limits.

Detailers do not all travel with the same water, power, or enclosed trailer. The split below is how this concept sorts the work. A real studio would confirm its own equipment before promising the same list.

Mobile visit

The car stays at home or at work. These are the jobs that fit when access is confirmed first.

  • Essential exterior refresh, once water or a rinseless plan is agreed
  • Interior reset, when the doors can stay open and surfaces can be left dry
  • Light pet hair sitting on the seat, not packed into the seams

In the shop

Deeper cleaning and coatings need a controlled room. This is why they are booked in the bay.

  • Deep interior

    Extraction throws dirty water, draws real power, and leaves fabric that has to dry. A closed, powered bay is the dependable place for that.

  • Heavy pet hair

    Hair in the seams is slow. It is usually booked with the deep interior instead of squeezed onto the end of a driveway wash.

  • Paint correction

    Polishing in dust adds the marks you are trying to reduce. The shop gives still air and light you can judge the paint by.

  • Ceramic coating

    The liquid has to cure away from rain, birds, and temperature swings. This concept keeps full coatings in the shop. A customer garage only counts if it is enclosed and can protect the cure.

  • Wheel-off cleaning

    Taking the wheels off means lifting the vehicle. That stays where it can be done safely, not on a sloped driveway.

What has to be confirmed

  • A legal place to park and work, and how long the car can stay there.
  • Hose water, or an agreement to use a rinseless wash because a hose is not allowed.
  • An outdoor outlet if polishers, steam, or an extractor are part of the visit — or confirmation that the detailer brings power.
  • Shelter, or a new date, for rain, freezing weather, high wind, or harsh sun on fresh protection.

What changes the number

  • Compacts and sedans take less time than trucks, vans, and three-row SUVs.
  • Heavy soil, pet hair, food stains, smoke, or a tired clear coat are priced after photos or an in-person look.
  • A coating quote follows the paint. Correction time is the variable, not a package name.

Essential exterior refresh

A careful wash and dry for a vehicle that is dusty or filmed with road grime, not a repair of the paint.

  • A rinseless wash if no hose is available, or a hose wash when water use is allowed
  • Wheels, tires, and accessible door jambs
  • Drying, glass, and a short-term sealant once the paint is dry and out of direct sun

This is ordinary wash work. It can happen in a driveway when the space, water, and weather cooperate, or in a bay when they do not.

Confirm a legal place to work for roughly one to three hours, a hose or a rinseless plan, and shelter if rain, freezing weather, or strong wind is likely.

The illustrative starting figure on this page is $79 for a smaller vehicle in ordinary condition. A truck, a van, or heavy film takes longer. That number is not a quote.
